Edward Tyler is head of covered bond trading for BBVA. He has made markets for over 21 years, beginning with RBC, trading Maples in Toronto, EM hard currencies and SSA local markets. EUR SSA and covereds found Edward just prior to the European financial crisis and, after time at Mizuho and TD Securities, moved to BBVA in 2025. He holds a BA (Hons) in economics from Durham University.
