Karoline Strand has been the chief operating officer at Sparebanken Vest Boligkreditt since 2019. Sparebanken Vest Boligkreditt is a specialised covered bond issuer and a wholly owned subsidiary of Sparebanken Vest, the second largest savings bank in Norway, operating independently. In her role, Karoline participates in investor relations and the covered bond funding for Sparebanken Vest Boligkreditt. She is also an integral member of the ESG team at Sparebanken Vest and contributed to the launch of the bank’s first green bond framework in 2019. Previously, Karoline held the position as the chief operating officer at Verd Boligkreditt and has also worked with Eiendomskreditt and Kredittforeningen for Sparebanker. Karoline holds a masters degree in economics and business administration, with a major in finance, from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
