Mario started his career in 2016 as a part of the Treasury department at ČSOB Bank in Prague. Later, his work expanded beyond the banking book to include insurance assets. In 2020 he joined the Wealth Management division at UniCredit Bank, where he was responsible for asset allocation and portfolio management across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Since August 2022 he has been part of the Reserve Management team at the National Bank of Slovakia, managing multi-currency portfolio of covered bonds, government bonds, SSA and corporate bonds.
