Based in Madrid, Marko Nikolic joined Nomura in London in October 2008 after having worked at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. Marko is a managing director and head of northern European DCM FIG origination and covers Nordics, Dutch, German and Austrian clients on the treasury front. Previously, he worked at Lehman Brothers in debt capital markets where he headed the covered bond origination desk. He has extensive experience in the capital markets having worked on financing transactions for the world's major borrowers including, most recently, Nordea, Svenska Handelsbanken, SEB, Swedbank, DNB, OP Bank, Rabobank, Deutsche Pfandbrief Bank etc. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Marko worked at Barclays Capital in London. He holds a MBA from Cass Business School, City University in London and BSc in Civil Engineering from University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
