Matthias Ebert is head of DCM FIG origination at DZ BANK AG in Frankfurt. Within the firm's debt capital markets unit, he is responsible for the bond origination from financial institution groups globally. He joined DZ BANK in November 2019 from Commerzbank in London where he successfully built a debt capital market bond coverage team for financial institutions in North America and Asia-Pacific. During his career he has gathered in-depth experience in advising, structuring and executing covered, senior and subordinated notes in GBP, CHF and EUR for clients in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America. Matthias holds a masters degree in economics from the University of Giessen in Germany. He is married and has two children.
