Maureen Schuller is head of financials sector strategy at ING. Her research focus is on covered bonds and sustainability topics impacting banks. Maureen graduated in 1998 in monetary economics at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). She completed the one year postgraduate financial and economic policy (BoFEB) programme, before joining ING in 1999. Maureen has headed ING’s financial research since 2015 and is an active member in different ECBC working groups (including the ECBC Factbook working group and ECBC ESG bonds task force), and in the vdp roundtable covered bond legislation (RT CBL).
