Speakers

Morten Bækmand Nielsen is head of ALM and investor relations at Danish mortgage bank Nykredit.  He holds a masters degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen and has attended courses at London Business School and University of Pennsylvania/Wharton.  In his previous work Morten was involved in developing new mortgage products, analysing mortgage finance and bond markets and working on regulatory affairs. Morten is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences covering topics such as housing finance, bank funding and financial regulation. He served as chairman of the European Covered Bond Council from 2021 until 2023. Nykredit is Denmark's largest lender and the largest issuer of mortgage covered bonds in Europe.
