Peter Wong is a treasury portfolio manager at Nationwide Building Society. He manages the HQLA portfolio for Nationwide’s treasury focusing on covered bonds and securitisations across Europe and third countries. Prior to this, he traded derivatives, providing and executing hedging solutions to manage interest rate risks of the Society including its issuances. He joined Nationwide in 2009 following a MSc in Finance and Accounting and a BEng in mechanical engineering. He is a CFA charterholder.
