Rene Foertsch is a credit market specialist and a 19 year Bloomberg veteran. Over his career he has always been focused on DACH Fixed Income markets. In his current role at Bloomberg, Rene is a liaison between Bloomberg users and product management, with a mandate of community building and service excellence, particularly in terms of Bloomberg solutions for the covered bond market. With risk and valuation topics as a main area of interest, he had in previous years been part of the Bloomberg DACH Fixed Income Data Group, Fixed Income Regulatory and Valuations Sales force and Multi Asset Risk System Sales force before joining Bloomberg’s Market Specialists group in 2024. Rene is a CFA charter holder and holds masters degrees in macroeconomics and mathematical finance.
