Since 2019, Sanna Eriksson has served as Chief Executive Officer of OP Mortgage Bank and
Head of Investor Relations at OP Pohjola, Finland’s market leader in loans, deposits and non-life
insurance. In mortgages, OP Pohjola holds a market share of approximately 39%. She has held
a range of managerial positions within OP Pohjola since 2000, including the past 13 years at OP
Mortgage Bank.
A strong advocate of green finance, Sanna has led OP Mortgage Bank’s pioneering work in
sustainable funding, including the issuance of Finland’s first Green Covered Bond in 2021,
followed by a second transaction in 2022. She is an active contributor to the European covered
bond market and currently serves as Chair of the Steering Committee of the European Covered
Bond Council (ECBC). In Finland, she has also played a prominent role in industry cooperation:
she joined Finance Finland’s Mortgage Bank Committee in 2019 and has chaired the committee
since 2023.
Sanna holds a degree in Marketing from the Helsinki School of Economics. She is passionate
about sustainability both professionally and personally.
