Steffen Dahmer is executive director–  global product manager and syndicate covered bonds at J.P. Morgan. He is based in Frankfurt and joined J.P. Morgan Oct 2003 as head of trading and syndicate, after working for 3 years for Barclays Capital as head of trading Germany and member of the local management committee in their Frankfurt, Germany office. Prior to joining Barclays in 2000, Steffen worked as head of Pfandbrief and Eurobond trading at DG Bank (today DZ Bank) in Frankfurt. Steffen started as junior trader for Rentenbank and DekaBank. In addition to his role as chairman of the market related working group at the ECBC, he is board of the Covered Bond Dealer Association at AEFMA and Covered Bond primary markets at ICMA.
