Viola Scholzen is Head of Fixed Income and Loan Syndication at DekaBank, where she leads four teams covering DCM & Syndicate, Bond Trading, Sales Institutional Clients and Loan Syndication. In this role, she is responsible for capital markets activities across primary and secondary fixed income markets as well as syndicated loan distribution. She has more than 25 years of experience in capital markets and structured finance. Before taking on her current position, she held several senior roles at DekaBank, including heading Loan Distribution & Public Finance, with a focus on structuring and distributing loan assets to institutional investors. Earlier in her career, she worked at Citigroup, Commerzbank, Aareal Bank-related advisory businesses, and LRP, building extensive expertise in Capital Markets, structured credit, securitisation, ABS, credit sales, and investor solutions.
